the colour mint

The colour of the moment to be trending now is MINT. It’s retro with a new edge and can be paired with basics to keep you looking on trend but not OTT
A beautiful pastel hue, though it would look beautiful in spring the hue is also such a brilliant match with black basics for our upcoming cooler months.
Add a splash of the hue with accessories; these are hard to find though so search around they won’t be hanging in any shop windows. And remember try the hue against your skin for bangle to see if it washes you out.

The minty freshness of a basic mint jean incorporates 2 trends at once, the colored jean is very on trend and pair this with a black cable knit turtle neck jumper and ballet flats, a perfect outfit for any day of the week.

A minted dress is to die for giving you a special glow at any event, try belted with a contrasting colour. Again pictured is the black paired with mint, it give a sophistication to the colour so it looks chic and expensive.

The sandals are fabulous with the leopard print a great match and unaccepted as well. Leopard print every girl has, so take note from this pairing and wear a leopard item with black and minted accents, the bangle or earrings pictured would be perfect

A minted pleated skirt once again is using 2 trends, the pleats give the mint a retro and preppy look, paired with a puss bow white blouse and cute basic pumps to not overkill the look keeps you fresh and clean at the office

Really loving the mint, and hope you are all daring enough to try this fresh and funky trend. Remember its only autumn, in Oz, I see this trend lasting a while to invest in some key pieces that you know will work trans-seasonal.

If you’re a touch afraid try out some slick minted nail polish, matte pastel colors are all the range at nail salons around the city, see more matte nail colors at beauty2it.blogspot.com.au
